EMS Welcome to Summer Information

Half-Day Academic Program

The Landmark Summer half-day academic program runs from 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m Monday–Friday.

Who is Landmark's EMS Summer Program for?

Students rising into grades 2–7 with dyslexia or another diagnosed language-based learning disability (which fall under the broader category of Specific Learning Disabilities [SLD]). Students must have average to above-average intelligence and a healthy emotional well-being so they can fully engage in and benefit from the program.

What is the academic program like?
  • A focus on reading, writing, and study skills
  • Small class sizes and tutorials with expert teachers trained in Landmark’s proven methods
  • Targeted learning blended with engaging activities

Afternoon Programming

We have partnered with our direct neighbor, Brookwood School, for fun, afternoon programming! Registration and payment for this feature is handled through Brookwood's website. Register your child for all five weeks, or select specific weeks for afternoon fun.

Sample Daily Schedule

The EMS Summer Program is a day program that runs Monday-Friday for the weeks it is in session (no school on July 3). The Landmark portion of the program is half-day from 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m., with additional optional afternoon programming in partnership with Brookwood.
