Advisory Program
At Landmark School, we know that strong relationships and consistent support are the foundation for academic and personal growth. Our Advisory Program provides students with the structure, guidance, and mentorship they need to thrive—both in and out of the classroom.
Personalized Support and Connection
Landmark’s Advisory Program is designed to strengthen student-teacher relationships, promote executive function and self-advocacy skills, and enhance communication with families. Regular Advisory check-ins create predictable, student-centered opportunities to set goals, reflect on progress, and build essential life skills.
Advisory groups are intentionally small—typically 5 to 12 students—allowing for close-knit connections and meaningful discussions. Advisory Leaders are faculty members. Larger groups may have co-leaders for added support.
Advisory Leaders will address key areas such as executive function, organization, self-advocacy, time management, and personal growth, as well as provide space for students to ask important questions. Through this consistent guidance, students build confidence, independence, and a stronger understanding of themselves as learners and people.
The Advisory Leaders role offers insight into student experiences and guides families to the appropriate teachers or administrators when needed.
