Community Service All-Stars 2025
June 11th, 2025
At Landmark School, community service is more than a checklist—it's a commitment to making a difference. This year, we’re proud to recognize a standout group of students who have gone above and beyond, each completing more than 50 hours of service during the school year. Dubbed our Community Service All Stars, these students are united not just by their dedication, but by a shared spirit of humility and hard work. Many of them have chosen roles that don’t always make headlines—quietly organizing, supporting, and leading behind the scenes. Their impact, however, is impossible to overlook.
Alex M.
104 hours
Throughout the school year, Alex has dedicated countless hours to editing video footage from Landmark’s athletic events. His work—featured in presentations at the awards ceremonies—brings each season vividly back to life. As Mr. Sumner notes, Alex’s videos not only showcase the excitement of competition, but also capture the heart and spirit of our teams. They’re fun to watch and deeply appreciated. Thank you, Alex, for all your hard work behind the scenes!
Colin H.
158 hours
Landmark’s flag retirement ceremony and the impressive new flagpole on campus are powerful symbols of respect and community. What many may not realize is that both were brought to life through the vision and behind-the-scenes efforts of Colin H.
Colin served as the architect and driving force behind these projects, working thoughtfully and without seeking recognition. His combination of initiative, dedication, and humility earned him Landmark’s Community Service Award. When you see Colin, be sure to congratulate him—and thank him for his inspiring example of leadership through service.
Drew H.
80 hours
Drew doesn’t seek the spotlight—he’s content to do meaningful work without fanfare or recognition. His quiet commitment to helping others reflects a true heart for service.
One standout example of this is his volunteer work with the junior ski patrol program at Sugarbush, where he spent his weekends assisting others and building valuable skills. His contributions made a lasting impression, and the team is eager to welcome him back.
Drew’s dedication is worth celebrating. Be sure to congratulate him on a job well done!
Jackson B.
64 hours
Jackson has long been a friendly and familiar presence around campus—but behind the scenes, he’s quietly taken on important responsibilities. Working alongside his brother Liam, Greg B., and Colin H., Jackson has helped raise and lower the flag each day with care and consistency.
He also played a role in planning Landmark’s flag retirement celebration, demonstrating his dedication to honoring tradition and building community. Thank you, Jackson, for your thoughtful contributions and steady leadership.
June P.
59 hours
When June heads home during school breaks, she doesn’t just take time to relax—she uses the opportunity to give back. Whether helping her grandmother or supporting elderly neighbors, June has devoted her time to home maintenance projects that make a real difference.
According to her grandmother, June is a dedicated and hardworking helper—always willing to step in where needed. Her efforts may happen quietly and out of view, but they speak volumes. Be sure to thank June for the care and compassion she brings to her community, even when no one is watching.
Liam B.
57 hours
Each day, without fanfare, Liam helps raise and lower the flag—no matter the weather, no matter the schedule. Alongside his brother Jackson, he’s taken on this responsibility with quiet consistency and care.
It’s a small act with a big impact, one that reflects true dedication behind the scenes. Liam isn’t looking for recognition—he’s simply glad to serve. The next time you see the flag waving in the wind, take a moment to think of Liam—and say thank you.
Ruby L.
60 hours
Ruby has devoted many hours to volunteering with the Adaptive Sports program at Mt. Snow, helping individuals with physical limitations experience the joy of skiing and snowboarding. Her work on the mountain is not only generous—it’s deeply personal. This cause has been close to her heart for years, and her ongoing commitment speaks volumes.
Through patience, compassion, and skill, Ruby has helped make winter sports accessible to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Be sure to thank Ruby for the meaningful impact she continues to make—on and off the slopes.
