Opening Week Brings Energy and Excitement to EMS

August 28th, 2025

Landmark’s Elementary•Middle School (EMS) campus was buzzing with energy as students in grades 2–8 kicked off a brand-new school year. During Opening Week, students got to know their teachers and classmates, learned their schedules, and settled into the daily routines that help make learning run smoothly.

A highlight of the week was the annual House Sorting, when each student joined one of the EMS Houses—a tradition that builds connection and school spirit across grades. Friendly competitions, team-building games, and community activities helped new and returning students feel welcomed and supported.

Opening Week set a positive tone for the year ahead, as students began forming friendships, developing confidence, and embracing Landmark’s warm and inclusive culture.
