PE Teacher  
Landmark Elementary•Middle School

At Landmark Elementary•Middle School, the PE Teacher will teach in the physical education department and will be supervised by the PE Department Head. The PE teacher must either already be certified or will go through the BU graduate program that Landmark offers to become certified in Moderate Special Needs (pre-k-8). This is a full-time 10-month position. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Teach six class periods over a two-day block, grades 2 - 8
  • Help design and implement the PE curriculum 
  • Maintain and distribute supplies and equipment 
  • Assist other PE teachers with curriculum and manage the classroom community
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to formulate and offer constructive feedback to colleagues
  • Professional rapport with colleagues
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain accurate records
