Changing the Game Programmatically

November 30th, 2023

Landmark School has embarked on several transformational project in the past decade. These have included a new athletic center at the High School, middle school classroom building, and an elementary wing at the Elementary•Middle School (EMS). Starting in March 2024, Landmark will again embark on construction projects on both campuses that will provide game-changing programmatic value to our students and faculty.

Claire Sullivan, head of the EMS campus said of her campus's improvements, "The building project and renovations at EMS will provide more than the physical spaces themselves: a much-needed dining hall, additional classrooms, an outdoor amphitheater, and more. These will open up possibilities for enhancing the overall program for our students—ideas and concepts already in the works and others yet to be conceived.

Bill Barrett, head of the High School offered, "The biggest impact these projects will have is that they will enhance our ability to gather as a school community. These include activities such as student orientation, weekday, weeknight, and weekend events, new faculty induction, staff training and meetings, parent workshops, and so much more. The building improvements will provide space to accommodate our current programming and will serve as a springboard for future initiatives yet to come!"

These projects are made possible through the Board of Trustees’ outstanding stewardship of Landmark’s finances in tandem with important philanthropic partnerships. If you are interested in supporting this exciting endeavor, please reach out to Michelle Granese, Director of Advancement.
