Landmark Sailing, Strong Fleet
April 19th, 2023
Landmark's sailing team is a force on the water this year. In the recent Northshore Invitational in mid April, sailors performed well and fought hard with Viking pride. Here are the results:
Grant G. '24 and Abby L. '25 won the A fleet with a total score of 16 while Dylan A. '23 and Rowan H. '24 won the B fleet with a total score of 6. Finally, Cam L. '24 and combo crews of Megan L. '25 and Tom B. '24 placed fourth in the B fleet with a total score of 24.
The combination of the two fleet wins and lowest score of 22 resulted in Landmark winning the whole regatta.
Later in the season, the sailing team won the Nelson Bowl Trophy for the top high school sailing team in Manchester Harbor.
