Wingmasters at EMS
June 1st, 2022
Jim, from Wingmasters, came to Landmark's Elementary•Middle School campus this week and held two different assemblies, one for elementary and the other for middle school. He spoke about North American birds of prey that we see on our campus who are now in rehabilitation. It was an incredibly informative presentation, and the birds he brought along were show-stoppers, including one of the oldest red tail hawks at the age of 35!
The up-close pictures of the falcon and owl are thanks to Ms. Flemming.
This program is part of a series of enrichment events at EMS this spring and fall made possible by a gift from the Held family P'29. Other programs included the recent Afro-Brazilian Ensemble through Young Audiences of Massachusetts, Block Prints by Cape Ann Museum, special themed milkbreaks, and other enhancements for students yet come!
