Residential students move-in on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
We hope your student is looking forward to Landmark's Summer Program. This page is a one-stop resource for important details about the program as well as contact information.
Important Dates
Zoom Meeting with Campus Directors
Monday, June 30 at 7:00 p.m.
All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this welcome meeting. We will review important aspects of the program, as well as answer any questions you may have. You will be emailed the Zoom link.
Sunday, July 6, 2025
Residential Students Move-In
- 2:00–4:00 p.m. - Resident students can start moving in at 2:00 p.m. Check-in at the registration table located in the Student Center of the Alexander Building.
- 4:00–4:30 p.m. - (optional) All program meetings with families, residential students, house parents, and program directors will be held in the Alexander Meeting Room.
- 4:30–5:00 p.m. - Parents/guardians depart. Students check in at their houses with houseparents. Time to finish unpacking and organizing rooms.
- 5:00–6:00 p.m. - Dinner time
- 6:30–8:30 p.m. - Icebreaker activities and games with all residents
- 8:30–10:00 p.m. - Wind down and quiet time in houses. Students can use this time to get organized for classes on Monday.
Monday, July 7, 2025
Opening Day for Day and Residential Students
- 8:00–8:25 a.m. - Day student parents /guardians should drop off students at the Alexander Building. Students will then proceed through the following schedule after parents/guardians depart.
- 8:30–8:45 a.m. - Welcome address for all students by program directors in Alexander Meeting Room
- 8:45–9:15 a.m. - Campus tour with Academic Advisors
- 9:15 a.m.–1:05 p.m. - Academic classes
- 1:05–1:35 p.m. - Lunch in the Alexander Building. Students who are not participating in after-school activities may stay for lunch and study hall or can be picked up at this time.
- 1:40–2:40 p.m. - Study Hall (Full and half-day students welcome. If half-day student is staying, please communicate your pick-up time.)
- 3:00–5:00 p.m. - After-school activities
- 5:00 p.m. - Pick up for day students participating in after-school activities
Summer Conference Day
Thursday, July 31, 2025
1:00–5:00 p.m. EST
Meet your child's teachers and get an update on your student's progress. Conferences will be offered in person and virtually. Scheduling information will be sent at the beginning of the program.
Last Day of Classes
Friday, August 1, 2025
Classes end at 1:05 p.m. and lunch will be served until 1:30 p.m. Resident students must be completely moved out of their houses by 4:00 p.m. EST.

Schedules
Daily Schedule
The Summer Program will be held Monday through Friday.
- 8:30 a.m.–1:05 p.m. - Four, one-hour academic courses
- 1:05 p.m.–1:35 p.m. - Lunch
- 1:40 p.m.–2:40 p.m. (Mon. - Thurs.) - Study Hall
- 2:40 p.m. - Dismissal for academic day students, return to houses for residents, day students doing afternoon activities can return to the Student Center to change if needed.
- 3:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. (Mon. - Thurs.) - afternoon activities for extended day students and residents
- 5:00 p.m. - Dismissal for extended day students, residents enjoy dinner and evening activities with houses
Day students must notify their academic advisor or the dean of students if they plan to stay for dinner and evening activities.
There are no after-school activities on Fridays.

After-School Activities
After-school activities will take place Monday through Thursday from 3:00–5:00 p.m.
For day students, please plan to pick up each day at 5:00 p.m. at the Student Center in the Alexander Building.
Materials will be provided for digital photography and visual arts. Students participating in sea kayaking and paddleboarding should dress appropriately for the ocean: swimsuits, sneakers or crocs, sunglasses/hat, and a towel are recommended. Group fitness participants should be in athletic clothing. Marine exploration participants should be prepared to get in the water and should have (or plan to purchase upon arrival at school) a mask, snorkel, and fins.
Academic Advisors and Student Schedules
Each family will be assigned an Academic Advisor who will oversee their student's schedule and daily tutorial. Student schedules will be completed during the week of June 30, and Academic Advisors will be in touch to schedule a phone call or online meeting during that week.

Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of parents/guardians. However, Landmark maintains a Carpool directory which you can access in your Family Portal.

If your student will be driving their own car, please submit a request to Sarah Gosse, Summer Program Dean of Students, sgosse@landmarkschool.org, prior to arrival.
School Supplies
All students are asked to bring a backpack, laptop, and a scientific calculator. If they don't have a computer, they can use one provided by Landmark. All students will be provided a binder, writing utensils, paper, and other basic school supplies.
If your child is assigned a summer reading book by their academic year school, please send your child with a copy of the book.
If your child is participating in after-school activities, please check the section above for additional supplies that may be needed.

Food
Breakfast, morning snack (milkbreak), and lunch are available for all students and are included in the cost of the program. Dinner is included for resident students. Food is provided by SAGE Dining services. Access online menus here.
