  On Saturday, June 2, 2018, 64 seniors graduated from Landmark School. The energy in the Alice Ansara Athletic Center was palpable as the soon-to-be graduates were ushered in by two bag pipe players and preceded by members of the high school faculty and the school's Board of Trustees. For the second consecutive year, the Elementary•Middle School participated in the Sandy Hook Promise, Start With Hello initiative. This week-long, free program is designed to raise awareness and prevent the impact of social isolation. The Landmark Boys Varsity Track and Field team prevailed at the 2018 Eastern Independent League (EIL) Championships at Marianapolis Prep in Thompson, Conn., on May 12, placing first ahead of Portsmouth Abbey, Pingree, Concord, and Bancroft. Thank you to everyone who participated in the 3rd Annual Viking Drop on Thursday, May 17th! We sold 119 squares and raised over $13,000 for the Landmark Fund, furthering the school's mission to empower students with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. On April 30, 2018 the EMS meeting room was full of 8th grade students eager to know what life Landmark's high school would be like as they move on at the end of this year. A rainy start to the annual EMS Day didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of students as they participated in a series of community-building, workshops, and service activities. Students learned about the homeless population in Beverly's Ellis Square area and prepared bagged lunches for them, which included a home-made sandwich, fresh fruit, bottled water, chips, and a granola bar. On Thursday, April 26th, the Landmark High School observed the Day of Silence 2018. We are one of thousands of schools all over the country who participate. The purpose behind it is to acknowledge the silencing many people feel by not being able to express themselves as individuals. The movement is run nationally by GLSEN and is designed to help us honor the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning) people who have been silenced by those who do not or have not accepted them.... On Saturday, May 5th from 8 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Landmark High School, 429 Hale Street, Prides Crossing, in Beverly, MA, will host an Electronics Recycling Collection for the community.
