After an incredible cross country season, four Landmark Middle School runners took their grit and good humor to the 2025 Massachusetts State Championships at Willard Park in Devens. The hilly, looping 1.8-mile course was a true test of endurance and spirit—and our runners were more than ready. From the first whistle to the final sprint, they ran with heart, determination, and that signature Landmark energy that makes every race a celebration of effort and teamwork.

Jenna O., Dennis J., Addie M., and James O. each ran their best races of the year, tackling the course’s twists and climbs with confidence and smiles. Their performances earned impressive finishes and special honors, from “Most Outstanding Runner” (Jenna) to “King of the Hill” (Denny and James) and “Rising Star” (Addie). More importantly, they showed what dedication and teamwork can achieve. The season may be winding down, but with the upcoming Junior Olympic Championships just around the corner, Landmark’s runners are proving that the best is yet to come.
