Lady Vikings' Stellar Season

November 6th, 2025

The Landmark School Girls Varsity Soccer team capped off a remarkable fall season with grit, unity, and standout performances that carried them all the way to the Independent Girls Conference playoffs. After a statement 1–0 win over Boston Trinity Academy and a dominant 4–0 victory against Waring, the Lady Vikings secured second place in the league and a first-round bye. Led by senior captains Charlotte F. and Anna H., and powered by record-setting sophomore striker Taylor L.—who tallied 27 goals this season (a school record!)—the team displayed exceptional teamwork and resilience from backfield to net.

Their momentum continued with a thrilling 3–1 semifinal victory over Covenant Christian Academy at home, fueled by strong defensive play, key goals, and the roar of a passionate Landmark crowd. The season ended against a stacked Montrose team but the joy, passion, and sisterhood of this team will live on. Thank you to dedicated coaches Rose, Kilker, and Murphy.
