Solar Eclipse at Landmark
April 9th, 2024
On Monday, April 8, students from Landmark elementary, middle, and high schools in Beverly and Manchester, Mass. were treated to a celestial spectacle as they witnessed a 93% solar eclipse. Equipped with protective glasses, the students marveled at the astronomical event, some even crafting creative masks to complement their eyewear. This rare educational opportunity allowed students to witness the wonders of the universe firsthand, fostering curiosity and excitement about science and the cosmos. The eclipse served as a reminder of the beauty and mystery of our solar system, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.
