Partnering With Windover Construction

December 1st, 2023

Landmark School is meeting the moment and laying the groundwork for the next 50 years. As part of this exciting initiative, the School will be building transformational additions and making renovations to existing facilities on each campus.

After a thorough request for proposal process that included several local contractors in the school marketplace, Landmark selected Windover Construction to partner with on these two transformational building projects. The architect for all projects is Tom Peterman or Peterman Architects. Tom has designed several other buildings for Landmark's campuses.

Dean Sidell, Landmark's director of operations, said, "the process was extremely thorough. Our Facilities Committee, co-chaired by local architect and Landmark trustee, Brian Stein, felt confident that Windover's experience, reputation, logistical strengths, experience working in school environments during the academic year, and involvement in the community all contributed greatly to the decision."

The Windover team is led by Jen Robitaille who will serve as the Project Executive partnering with Kevin Hansen who will be overseeing Pre-Construction. Other team members are veterans in the construction field with direct experience working in independent school settings.

Josh Clark, head of Landmark School, said, "Our faculty members will collaborate with Windover's team to introduce our students in math, science, technology, and engineering classes to the projects. This is a value-add that we had not anticipated and we know that our students will benefit greatly from the opportunity for hands-on learning in a real-world environment."

Projects are due to begin in March 2024 and will be completed by Winter 2025.
