Landmark Cares 2022 Recap

October 3rd, 2022

Wow! We are so grateful for ALL of your support for Landmark Cares Week, a school spirit and fall fundraising effort. Thanks to you, we surpassed our $300,000 fundraising goal and raised...$324,058 toward the Landmark Fund!

Cares goal completed

We are grateful to everyone who contributed, sponsored, attended an event, followed along on social media, and cheered us on from near and far! Every dollar raised from Landmark Cares supports the day-to-day programs, activities, and experiences here at our beloved school.

Above and beyond the fundraising success, we had fun celebrating the Landmark community. Every day featured a special event or initiative, each one as festive as the next.

Saturday, September 24 - Landmark Cares Kickoff Mixer

Nearly 100 parents and guardians—from brand new to veteran, gathered at Riversbend in Essex. Thank you to the Bergeron Family P’30 for hosting us!

Sunday, September 25 - Beach Clean Up

Landmark Cares…about our public spaces. More than 50 people—parents, students, siblings, and friends—collected over 2,800 individual pieces of trash from Dane Street Beach in Beverly!

Monday, September 26 - BBQ Lunches for Students and Faculty

Mother Nature outdid herself with a beautiful day to enjoy a tasty lunch.

Tuesday, September 27 - Social Media Takeover “What are you reading?”

From Goodnight Moon to The Pearl, the book titles were wide-ranging and inspiring. Such a fun way to celebrate Landmark Cares “Chapter '22.”

Wednesday, September 28 - Faculty and Staff Appreciation Milkbreak

They deserve nothing less! As a way to show how much we love them, our High School and EMS faculty enjoyed special treats.

Thursday, September 29 - Spirit Day

Arguably the most fun day of the week. The Landmark School spirit was palpable—Pom Poms for the win! Among the highlights of the day: a High School Pep Rally and EMS pop-up popsicle treats.

Friday, September 30 - EMS Movie Night

What’s better than Friday family pizza and movie night? Having it at school with all your friends! We didn’t let the 50-degree temperatures deter us, Sing 2 on Swanson Field was awesome.

Saturday, October 1 - Homecoming: 5K Road Race and Fall Festival

The capstone event of the week was a blast! Thank you to the student volunteers who cheered on 5K participants during the rainy morning. Congrats to Mrs. Chhu and alumnus Ryan Shea '20 for your overall female and male wins!

Special Thanks to SAGE Dining Services for partnering with us on this incredible week!
