Landmark Cares 2022 Gets Started

September 26th, 2022

Landmark Cares, which started on Saturday, September 24, 2022 is a week-long initiative to celebrate Landmark's faculty, students, and community. Landmark Cares is not just an important fall fundraiser for Landmark School, it's also an opportunity for the community to celebrate their Landmark pride!

This year's theme is "Chapter '22" focusing on starting a new school year and promoting reading.

The initiative runs until this Saturday, October 1 and includes a host of events.

This last weekend, parents gathered for the Kickoff Mixer at the Riversbend Restaurant in Essex. Parents mingled, bid on auction items, and enjoyed getting to know one another.

On Sunday, Landmark community members gathered at Dane Street beach for a Beach Cleanup and to give back to the broader Beverly community.

During the week, Landmark campuses are celebrating with activities such as a special BBQ Bash for lunch, Social Media Takeover focused on "What are you reading?", special treats during morning milkbreak for faculty, and a spirit day.

Landmark Cares wraps up this weekend with a few more events such as an EMS Movie Night on Friday and Landmark's Homecoming: 5K Road Race & Fall Festival on Saturday morning. Alumni specific events on Saturday include an alumni soccer game and a 10-Year Alumni Reunion.

Landmark community members can still register for events on the Landmark Cares website. Anyone can run the 5K Road Race. If looking to register for just the race, participants can register here.

While Landmark Cares is a lot of fun, it is also an important fundraiser for the school. The goal is to raise $300,000, which is a quarter of the school's annual fund of $1.2M. If you are interested in supporting, you can make a gift to the Landmark Fund.
