EMS Race Recap
September 28th, 2022
On a summer-like day, the Landmark Elementary•Middle School (EMS) Cross Country team boarded the bus and headed to Marblehead to face off against The Tower School and Glen Urquhart School in a two-mile race along trails and over fields. After a quick stretch, our team of eleven lined up along with 22 other runners. On your mark, get set, go...
It takes a lot of guts to try a new sport, and there is nothing easy about running. Sometimes the hardest part is getting to the starting line healthy and uninjured. Anyone who crosses a finish line is a winner.
Thanks to Coach Cook, Coach Hill, and Coach Walfield who work amazingly well with our students. Thanks to all of the families who were able to make it today to cheer the team on and to all of you who have given your children the opportunity to be on our team. We hope to see you at our next race, next Thursday, October 6, on our home course at Iron Rail against GUS and CCA.
Happy Trails,
Coach Triback
