We hope your student is looking forward to Landmark's Summer Program. This page is a one-stop resource for important details about the program as well as contact information.
To Do
Complete Health Forms
All student medical information will be gathered and hosted in Magnus Health, which is accessible through the FACTS Family Portal.
To access your Magnus Health Account:
- Log on to Family Portal
- Click on the Student Tab
- Click on the Medical Tab
- Click the link for Magnus Health
If you are having difficulty navigating the Magnus system, please click the "Need Help?" button in the top left corner of your Magnus Health account. If you have questions about Landmark's medical requirements, please contact our Director of Health Services, Kerry Markert (978-236-3264).
Add Money to Student Activity Account
The Student Activity Account is used for weekend activities, trips, and allowance (for boarders). This prepaid account is the easiest way for us to manage funds for our student population. We suggest $200 for day students and $600 for boarders. Monies not used will be returned at the end of the summer program. Please use these instructions to add money.
Transportation: Request for Student To Drive
If your student will be driving their own car, please submit a request to Sarah Gosse, Summer Program Dean of Students, [email protected], prior to arrival.

All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this welcome meeting. We will review important aspects of the program, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Monday, July 6, 2026
Residential Students Move-In
- 2:00–4:00 p.m. - Boarding students can start moving in at 2:00 p.m. Check-in at the registration table located in the Student Center of the Alexander Building.
- 4:00–4:30 p.m. - (optional) All program meetings with families, boarding students, dorm parents, and program directors will be held in the Alexander Meeting Room. No new information will be shared at this meeting. The meeting will provide families with a natural transition to say goodbye before evening programming for residents starts up!
- 4:30–5:00 p.m. - Parents/guardians depart. Students check in at their dorms with dorm parents. Time to finish unpacking and organizing rooms.
- 5:00–6:00 p.m. - Dinner time
- 6:30–8:30 p.m. - Icebreaker activities and games with all boarders
- 8:30–10:00 p.m. - Wind down and quiet time in houses. Students can use this time to get organized for classes on Monday.
Tuesday, July 7, 2026
Opening Day for Day and Boarding Students
- 7:45 a.m. - Cafeteria open for breakfast. Drop off for day students no earlier than 7:45 a.m.
- 8:00–8:25 a.m. - Day student parents /guardians should drop off students at the Alexander Building. Students will then proceed through the following schedule after parents/guardians depart.
- 8:30 a.m. - Academic programming begins
- 1:05–1:35 p.m. - Lunch in the Alexander Building. Students who are not participating in after-school activities may stay for lunch and study hall, or can be picked up at this time.
- 1:40–2:40 p.m. - Study Hall (Full and half-day students welcome. If half-day student is staying, please communicate your pick-up time with the Summer Academic Dean, Devon Musgrave-Johnson, [email protected])
- 3:00–5:00 p.m. - After-school activities
- 5:00 p.m. - Pick up for day students participating in after-school activities
Summer Conference Day
Thursday, July 30, 2026
Meet your child's teachers and get an update on your student's progress. Conferences will be offered in person and virtually in the afternoon from 1:00–5:30 p.m. Scheduling information will be sent at the beginning of the program.
Last Day of Classes
Friday, July 31, 2026
Classes end at 1:05 p.m. and lunch will be served until 1:30 p.m. Boarding students must be completely moved out of their dorms by 4:00 p.m. EST.

Other Information
Daily Schedule Overview
The Summer Program will be held Monday through Friday. There is no study hall or after-school activities on Friday.
- 7:45 a.m. - Cafeteria open for breakfast. Drop off for day students no earlier than 7:45 a.m.
- 8:30 a.m.–1:05 p.m. - Four, one-hour academic courses
- 1:05 p.m.–1:35 p.m. - Lunch
- 1:40 p.m.–2:40 p.m. (Mon.-Thurs.) - Study Hall (All extended day students and residents attend. Students participating in the Academic day only will be assigned to a stay hall, this is not an additional cost.)
- 2:40 p.m. - Dismissal for academic day students, return to dorms for boarders, day students doing afternoon activities can return to the Student Center to change if needed.
- 3:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. (Mon.-Thurs.) - afternoon activities for extended day students and boarders
- 5:00 p.m. - Dismissal for extended day students, boarders enjoy dinner and evening activities with dorms

Student Schedules
Each student will be assigned an Advisory Leader, who will oversee their study hall and check in with them throughout the summer. Student schedules will be completed during the week of June 29, and the Program Director, Christina Scanlon, and Academic Dean, Devon Musgrave-Johnson, will provide class schedules on the first day of classes. All students will be enrolled in Language Arts, Math, Integrated Literacy, and a One-on-One Tutorial.
Afternoon Activities
Monday–Thursday | 3:00–5:00 p.m.
(No afternoon activities on Fridays)
For day students, please plan to pick up each day at 5:00 p.m. at the Student Center in the Alexander Building.
What to bring:
- Group Fitness – Wear athletic clothing.
- Marine Explorations – Be prepared to get in the water and have (or plan to purchase upon arrival at school) a mask, snorkel, and fins. You can also bring a fishing pole to leave on campus, but we will have some to use if you do not own one!
- Sea Kayaking/Paddleboarding - Expect to get wet; bring swimsuits, sneakers or crocs, sunglasses/hat, and a towel.
- STEAM - All materials provided.
- Visual Arts - All materials provided.

School Supplies
All students are asked to bring a backpack, laptop, and a scientific calculator. If they don't have a computer, we will provide a loaner. All students will be receive a binder, writing utensils, paper, and other basic school supplies.
If your child is assigned a summer reading book by their academic year school, please send them with a copy of this book.
If your child is participating in after-school activities, please check the section above for additional supplies they may need.
Dress Code

Food
Breakfast, morning snack (milkbreak), and lunch are available for all students and are included in the cost of the program. Dinner is included for boarding students. Food is provided by SAGE Dining services. Access online menus here.
Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of parents/guardians. However, Landmark maintains a Carpool directory which you can access in your Family Portal.
