Before You Apply

Before you apply, start with a simple hello. Inquiring gives you a chance to learn more about Landmark, get notified of upcoming admission events, and ask questions.
Visit
Come for an Open House or attend a virtual Info Session. See the campus, hear from students, and learn about the Landmark Difference.
Who Should Apply?
Landmark specializes in dyslexia and related language-based learning differences (LBLD). Explore our Student Profile.
Step One: Apply
If you’ve already started an application, log in to the "Online Application" portal using the button above. Then click the “Application” tab at the top of the page to continue working on your in-progress application.
- Application Fee (submitted within the online application)
- Documentation (uploaded to the online application). We encourage you to begin the online application, even if you don’t have all the documents listed below:
- Diagnostic Testing
- Official School Records from the current and previous school year, including report cards, transcript(s), IEP/504’s, and Progress Reports, if applicable.
- Applicable references (details within the online application) and Handwritten Student Statement
Documents that you are unable to submit with the online application, or that are not yet available, can be sent separately via email to [email protected]. An admission counselor will reach out to you with more information once you have submitted your online application.
Financial Aid
Please apply for financial aid at the same time as applying for Landmark School. To help evaluate demonstrated need, Landmark School employs Clarity. Click here to start a Clarity application. Please type in "Landmark" when the platform asks for the school’s name.
Financial Aid Deadlines
Financial Aid funds are limited. To be eligible for full consideration in the first round of financial aid decisions, financial aid applications must be received by January 15 for new students and February 1 for returning students.

Step Two: Application Review Process
All application materials are carefully reviewed by the admission committee. Follow-up conversations with application contacts and references may take place once all required documents have been received.
Step Three: Admission Appointment
If appropriate, an admission appointment will be scheduled by Landmark after application materials have been reviewed. The appointment may include a campus tour and interview.


Step Four: Receiving a Decision
For Academic-Year Applicants
We will provide an admission decision once all required application materials have been reviewed and a personal screening and interview with an Admission team member has taken place.
For Summer Program-Only Applicants
A meeting with our Admission team is not typically required. You will hear from us once all of the required application documents have been submitted and reviewed by our team.

How do I learn more and visit Landmark School?
Fill out an Inquiry to join our email list and learn more about how your child can benefit from the Landmark difference.
Signing up for a visit is important and will introduce you and your child to Landmark students and to imagine yourself on our beautiful coastal campus just 30 miles from Boston.
Is there an application deadline and is an interview required?
For more information on how to apply, visit our Apply page.
Submit all required documentation by December 15th to be considered during the first round of reviews. Applications received after the deadline will be accepted on a rolling admission basis, as space and time allow.
After you complete the application and submit all of the required documents, we will contact you to schedule an interview if your child appears to be the right fit for our program.
For the Summer Program, the Admission Committee determines the need for an interview on a case-by-case basis.

When will I find out if my child is accepted to Landmark School?
For applications received by the December 15 deadline, we will provide feedback by January 15.
Please note: For those families applying for financial aid, decisions will be made after February first.
Is there a different application for the Summer Program?
No. Please follow the instruction on the Apply page to apply for the Landmark Summer Programs.
Skills+, a two-week study skills workshop, requires registration but does not have an application process.
