Landmark's athletic program strives to achieve sportsmanship, leadership on and off the field, and commitment to one's team and sport. The program aims to teach critical thinking during practice and competition, time management skills, self-discipline, and the benefits of physical fitness.

Our goal is to challenge our student athletes to strive to be the best they can be on and off the field.

Varsity Track competes in the Eastern Independent League. The team practices and hosts meets at the Brigham Complex at Gordon College. Practices are weekday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Head Coach Tom O'Riordan can be reached at toriordan@landmarkschool.org

Bio

Tom O'Riordan has coached track and field at Landmark since the program began in 2012, and he has coached cross country at Landmark since 2014. Tom began coaching in 2005 as a college student. Before Landmark, Tom coached cross country and winter and spring track at Marian High School in Framingham, Mass.

Tom's passion for running and competition began in high school, when he was a member of seven league championship teams and a leg of the 4x800m relay, which won a state championship title. Tom continued his running career at Saint Michael's College, where he captained his cross country team and was awarded the Diane C. Foster award for Dedication to Athletics and Community. Tom believes successful teams strive for excellence in a friendly, accepting, and competitive atmosphere.
