    Landmark High School is accepting applications for special education, language arts, expressive language arts, history, math, reading, study skills, and science teachers. Landmark is a world leader in educating students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities.

    Landmark School employs teachers in our high school program (grades 9 – 12) in a range of disciplines from reading and expressive language to history and science. Faculty responsibilities include teaching a load of six classes/tutorials as well as evening and weekend residential coverage duties. All new teachers begin with a comprehensive training program in August.

    Position Overview

    Landmark School seeks a detail-oriented, student-centered Student Progress and Performance Coordinator to support the organization of student progress and ensure that each student receives the necessary academic support. The Coordinator serves as the primary creator of student plan information and the liaison between students, families, classroom teachers, and associate directors, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of services.

    Each Coordinator will oversee a caseload of students, manage academic paperwork, facilitate communication among stakeholders, complete assessments, and share all data in a clear, consistent format. This role requires strong organizational skills, an ability to build trusting relationships with families and educators, and a deep understanding of special education processes.

    This position reports to the Director of Student Progress and Performance and plays a critical role in ensuring that students receive the individualized support they need to thrive. The Coordinator will collaborate with the Elementary•Middle School Student Progress and Performance team under the direction and oversight of the Associate Director.

    Key Responsibilities

    IEP Management & Compliance

    • Write all IEPs, student goals, and profile paperwork for all students in all assigned grades.
    • Prepare and manage academic documentation (e.g., student plans, IEPs, term reports, testing) in accordance with state and federal special education regulations.
    • Ensure all goals, accommodations, and modifications are clearly communicated to teachers and implemented effectively.
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation for student progress monitoring.

    Family Liaison & Communication

    • Serve as the academic point of contact for families, ensuring open and transparent communication regarding student progress, support plans, and accommodations.
    • Share assessment data with families in a clear and consistent format, providing insights into student growth and areas for further development.
    • Conduct check-ins with families to address concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on student support services.

    Classroom Teacher Liaison

    Requirements:

    Experience & Expertise

    • Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field (preferred).

    “Learning” is the focus of this title—as this person is responsible for the ongoing learning experience of every member of the Landmark High School community, from the youngest student to the most seasoned veteran teacher.     Position Summary
    Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Major Gifts builds and strengthens relationships with Landmark School constituents to secure philanthropic support for the school’s strategic priorities, including the annual fund, capital campaigns, endowment growth, and special initiatives. The Director of Major Gifts is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding leadership, major, and planned gifts. This role works closely with prospective donors to align their philanthropic interests with Landmark’s mission and long-term sustainability goals.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Prospect Management 

    • Manage a dynamic portfolio of approximately 150 major gift prospects and donors, including current parents, parents of alumni, alumni, and friends of the school.
    • Develop and implement individualized strategies to advance prospects through the cultivation and solicitation cycle, with a focus on gifts of $10,000 and above.
    • Identify, qualify, and actively build the major gift pipeline through prospect research, referrals, list reviews, and relationship mapping.
    • Conduct and oversee research on new incoming parents/guardians to identify potential major gift prospects and create comprehensive profiles.
    • Coordinate research for key prospects throughout capital campaigns and special initiatives.
    • Prepare and submit annual performance goals with specific timelines, projected outcomes, and measurable results.
    • Document all prospect activity in the Advancement CRM and maintain accurate records of engagement and solicitation strategies.
    • Analyze giving data and generate reports for the Director of Advancement and Board of Trustees.

    Donor Relations & Cultivation 

    • Develop and execute prospect-specific cultivation and solicitation strategies for current-use, capital, endowment, deferred, and non-cash gifts.
    • Arrange, staff, and follow up on donor meetings involving the Head of School, Director of Institutional Advancement, trustees, and other key leaders.
    • Partner with the Director of Institutional Advancement on the planning and execution of capital campaigns and special fundraising initiatives, including timelines, prospect lists, communications, cultivation events, and proposal development.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Annual Giving and Parent Engagement to align strategies for current parents and annual donors, ensuring thoughtful engagement across giving levels.
    • Develop a deep understanding of Landmark’s academic programs and strategic priorities to effectively articulate the school’s mission and case for support.

    Stewardship 

    • Oversee comprehensive stewardship of leadership and major gift donors, including those who have established designated or named funds.
    • Lead the creation and distribution of annual Impact Reports (including those related to the 50 Forward Campaign), endowment performance reports, and customized donor communications.
    • Ensure consistent, meaningful donor recognition and engagement through events, reports, and personalized outreach.
    • Work collaboratively with Advancement colleagues to maintain strong donor recognition and stewardship practices.

    Additional Responsibilities 

    • Participate actively in school life, including attending events, assemblies, and community programs.
    • Attend Advancement meetings and fundraising or cultivation events; some evening and weekend work required.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned as a member of the Advancement team.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant development experience, preferably in major gifts or leadership giving within an educational setting.
    • Demonstrated experience in solicitation strategy and fundraising operations.
    • Ability to think strategically and creatively about annual and campaign fundraising.
    • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and parents.

    Staff Nurse Responsibilities 

    • Provide direct nursing care to students including first aid, emergency response, and management of chronic conditions.
    • Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed guidelines and school policies.
    • Maintain and update student health records, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
    • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support student health and well-being.
    • Support school-wide health and safety initiatives, including infection control and emergency preparedness.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency medical services when necessary.

    Tot Spot is an on-site child care program for infant/toddler and preschool aged children located on Landmark School’s high school campus. As part of Landmark School, Tot Spot is a practicum space for Landmark high school students who are enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes. We recognize the various developmental stages experienced by infants, toddlers and preschoolers as they grow and teach each child according to their developmental level and needs.     Position Overview

    Tot Spot, Landmark School’s on-campus childcare center, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education for young children, create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment, and model professional standards for co-teachers.

    Position Overview

    The Custodial Worker provides general cleaning services and helps maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in and around campus buildings as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, disinfecting bathrooms, cleaning windows, and removing trash from campus buildings
    • Operating and transporting light cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor machines (up to 25 pounds) between floors and buildings
    • Occasionally lifting boxes or equipment weighing more than 25 pounds
    • Reporting building repair needs and safety concerns to the Custodial Supervisor or maintenance staff
    • Occasionally working overtime as needed
    • Clear and shovel snow as needed 
    Requirements:
    • Ability to maintain clean, orderly, and sanitary buildings
    • Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach; capable of lifting more than 25 pounds when required

    Position Summary

    The Advancement Services Coordinator supports Landmark School's fundraising, stewardship, and constituent engagement efforts through effective database management, gift administration, reporting, and operational support. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this position serves as the primary administrator of the Advancement CRM and works closely with the Advancement team and Business Office to ensure accurate data management, financial reconciliation, donor stewardship, and event support.

    Key Responsibilities

    Advancement Operations & Database Management

    • Serve as primary administrator for the Advancement CRM (currently Bloomerang), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Maintain constituent, donor, alumni, parent, and volunteer records.
    • Produce reports, analytics, mailing lists, and data exports to support fundraising, stewardship, and strategic initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain database procedures and best practices.
    • Coordinate wealth screening and prospect research support activities.

    Gift Administration & Financial Reconciliation

    • Process gifts, pledges, and donor records accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate gift acknowledgments and stewardship tracking.
    • Reconcile Advancement records with the Business Office and support annual audit requirements.
    • Serve as liaison to online giving platforms and payment processing vendors.

    Donor Stewardship & Engagement

    • Support donor stewardship efforts, including recognition programs, impact reporting, and annual giving reports.
    • Coordinate stewardship mailings, donor communications, and constituent engagement initiatives.
    • Assist with tracking and reporting on donor participation and giving activity.

    Event & Administrative Support

    • Provide logistical and database support for fundraising and engagement events.
    • Manage event registration, sponsorship tracking, guest lists, and post-event reporting.
    • Support advancement projects and departmental operations as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • 2+ years of experience in Advancement or Development, preferably in an independent school or nonprofit setting.
    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Bloomerang, Raiser’s Edge or similar. 
    • Event planning or event support experience.
    • Strong organizational, data management, and time-management skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
    • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality when working with donor and financial data.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
