Teacher Residency Program

Teachers at Landmark School say that their experience here is often life-changing. Faculty members at Landmark School benefit from the structure, support, and mentorship of our unique Teacher Residency Program. It provides the foundation upon which teachers hone skills and build mastery while working full-time and earning an advanced degree. Participants gain hands-on skills in their very own classroom and the Residential Life Program (High School only).

Training
 

In-house comprehensive training before the school year begins, and Residential Life experience for High School teachers.

Master's Degree
 

Fully subsidized on-site Master's degree in Special Education from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.

Mentorship
 

Extensive professional development and mentoring throughout the year with emphasis on proven strategies to reach students with dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities.

Licensure
 

Massachusetts educator licensure as a teacher of students with Moderate Disabilities (5–12). Reciprocal with 46 other states.
