Job Title: Bus Driver

Status: Part-time (10-15 hours)*

Mission and Background

Landmark is a coeducational, multi-campus, approved Massachusetts Chapter 766 Private Day and Boarding school enrolling students in grades 2-12 diagnosed with dyslexia or another language-based learning disability (LBLD). These fall under the broader category of specific learning disabilities (SLD). Landmark’s unique, individualized approach empowers students to reach their academic and social potential. 

Summary

Landmark School is looking for a part-time bus driver for its high school athletic and student life program.  This position involves the transportation of students to away sites for games, practices, or activities. Students are supervised by Landmark staff during transit. Drivers must have an appropriate class B CDL license to operate a school bus with passengers. Times vary but usually would be between the hours of 1:30-7:00 p.m.

Bus Driver Responsibilities

  • Maintain weekly contact with Landmark Athletic and Student Life departments to coordinate the schedule.
  • Transport students and staff from campus to off-site locations.
  • Monitor/stay with the vehicle during off-site athletic contests or activities.
  • Report any vehicle needs to Landmark Auto shop

Requirements

  • Class B CDL license with passenger endorsement
  • Successful completion of background check/CORI requirements
