Spring Parents' Days

Thursday, March 23, 2017

students sitting outside at Alexander Landmark SchoolSpring Parents’ Days will take place on Thursday, April 13, and Friday, April 14. These days are an opportunity for parents to meet with teachers and other faculty at Landmark High School.

While the main focus of these days is parent-teacher conferences, we are also hosting community events, presentations, and an art gallery opening. We encourage parents to participate in any—or all of these. Our Headmaster, Bob Broudo, will address parents on both Thursday and Friday. The Guidance Office will run a workshop for parents of all juniors on both days. This workshop will focus on the college application process and post-graduation transitioning from Landmark. We will also have a full complement of athletic events on Thursday afternoon at our various home locations.

We are excited for the opening of the Inspiration Gallery, which is located on the first floor of the Computer Building. The gallery will serve as a space to display all Landmark student work in the areas of Visual and Industrial Arts, as well as technology projects. We are thrilled to be able to showcase student work throughout the year.

These trips will return to campus by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, and by 12:30 p.m. on Friday. We also want to remind everyone that there is no school on Monday, April 17. Classes will resume at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18.

Finally, students who are juniors or seniors are given the opportunity to attend conferences with their parents, but must sign-up with Tim Mahoney, Academic Dean, in advance. Students choosing to attend conferences must accompany their parents to conferences throughout the day.

Please RSVP and schedule teacher conferences. Even if you are not planning to attend, it would still be very helpful if you use the link to RSVP. The deadline for all RSVPs is Wednesday, April 5.
