2018 Fall Parents' Days

We have had a great start to our academic year and students have settled into their classes and routines. Our Fall Parents’ Days will take place on Thursday, October 18, and Friday, October 19. These days are an opportunity for parents and guardian to meet with teachers and other faculty involved in your student’s program at Landmark High School, and also get better acquainted with our high school community.

While these days are primarily designed to conduct parent-teacher conferences, there are featured community events in which we encourage you to take part: athletic contests and a performing arts showcase. We are also excited to have you hear from our Headmaster Bob Broudo, who will be speaking on both days and is hosting a reception at his home from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday night. In short, we welcome and encourage your participation in as many events as you are able to attend during your visit with us.

Students During Parents' Days

Since all faculty will be involved in conferences, we request that day students remain off campus on these two days. Residential students may leave campus for the weekend at the conclusion of school on Wednesday, October 17. Residential students here on campus during Fall Parents’ Days will be involved in off-campus trips both Thursday and Friday. These trips will return to campus by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, and by 2:00 p.m. on Friday. We also want to remind everyone that there is no school on Monday, October 22. Classes will resume at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23.

Finally, students who are juniors or seniors are given the opportunity to attend conferences with their parents, but must sign-up with Tim Mahoney, Academic Dean, in advance.  Students choosing to attend conferences must accompany their parents to conferences throughout the day.

Please RSVP as soon as possible and schedule teacher conferences on the day of your choice.

It would be appreciated if you could send us an RSVP even if you aren’t coming.  Any questions you may have regarding the scheduling of conferences may be directed to Althea Sergeant at 978-236-3300.
