Attention Students:
The Beverly Public Library will be holding its 16th Annual Poetry Contest from January 9 through March 2nd. Landmark has been represented at the last five contests, earning honorable mentions. The next winner could be you!
Details:
* You can submit one, two or three poems (no more than 3 per person)
* Each poem must be original (you have to write it yourself)
* Each poem must have a title and must be typed
* Make sure your name is NOT anywhere on the poem ...
If you are interested, please bring your poem/poems to the library. Mrs. Veling will help you fill out the entry form.
I can also help you submit your poetry online.
Finalists will read their poems and winners will receive their awards at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 24th at 7:00pm at the Beverly Public Library.
