Welcome to the 2024-2025 Academic Year!

This page is a one-stop resource for important details about what you and your student need to know about the start of the school year. This page will be updated throughout the summer to include more information.

2024 Start of School Dates:

  • Monday, August 26
    • Residential Move-In Day
    • Residents can start moving in at 10:00 a.m. and should be done by 3:00 p.m.
    • Programming sessions for residential parents/guardians runs during the afternoon, timing TBD
  • Monday, August 26 (evening) 
    • New High School Parent/Guardian Welcome Event (residential and day)
  • Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29
    • Orientation for all High School students
    • 8:00 a.m. to Noon
    • There will be optional afternoon activities on most days. More details to come.
  • Friday, August 30
    • Classes begin - mini schedule 
    • 8:00 a.m. to Noon
    • More details to come on afternoon activities
  • Monday, September 2
    • No School for Labor Day
  • Tuesday, September 3
    • Full day of classes begin (7:50 a.m. to 3:13 p.m.)

What to Bring to Orientation

For student orientation on Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29, students should:
  • Wear clothing they are comfortable being active in. While students should dress appropriately, no dress code is enforced until classes begin on Friday, August 30.
  • Students do not need school supplies or backpacks until classes begin Friday, August 30.
