Topping Off New EMS Building
April 26th, 2024
Landmark's Elementary•Middle School community was out with joy and force as they signed a symbolic beam that will become a key part of the structure of the new building to grace the campus. This Topping Off Ceremony celebrates the efforts of the construction crew and is reminiscent of a barn raising. This is an age-old custom of signing a key, and often final, element of the framework of a building. The beam that the EMS community signed today is intended to be the first of many iron beams to be erected in the coming days. We are eager to see this new building take shape and to enjoy the new classroom, dining, and performance spaces this time next year.
