Blasting on High School Campus
March 27th, 2024
Landmark High School is poised for a significant transformation with the launch of its "Meeting the Moment" Initiative, aimed at enhancing student-centered outcomes. As part of this initiative, the school has commenced blasting operations to prepare for the construction of a new student center adjacent to the Alexander Building.
The upcoming student center promises to revolutionize the academic and social experience for students, providing a dynamic space for learning and community engagement. The controlled blasting activities, while brief, have caused noticeable ground vibrations, signaling the beginning of this transformative project.
Safety measures are paramount during this phase, with warning horns sounding before each blast to ensure the protection of all individuals on campus and in neighboring areas.
