Professional Development for Educators

Landmark Outreach was founded in 1977 as a mission-based initiative to share our methodologies with educators working in public, private, and parochial schools in the United States and around the globe. Since then it has grown to a multi-faceted program providing in-school consulting, professional development workshops, seminars, online graduate-level courses, publications, teaching resources, and much more.

Landmark Outreach provides an exemplary program of applied research delivering effective, classroom-tested strategies to meet the needs of ALL learners, especially those with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.

Here's what some our our course participants had to say:

"I have taken many classes ranging from teaching spelling, teaching reading, helping children comprehend what they're reading, algebra, mathematics skills, writing skills... everything translates for all of my students in a larger classroom format as well as small groups, and one-on-one." —Rebeka Castro

"The five online courses that I took were outstanding. I recommend this program to any teacher interested in helping students with language-based learning disabilities. I have been teaching for 40 years, and I have learned so much from these courses." —Susan Kutner

"I felt this was one of the most valuable professional development workshops I've attended and I've been teaching for over 10 years."  —Jennifer Miller
