Coed Varsity Cross Country @ Dana Hall 4:30pm (duel meet: Dana Hall/ Chapel Hill)
Landmark Wins
The Landmark Cross Country team had an impressive win against Chapel Hill yesterday at the Dana Hall course. Chris T. ran in the lead for the entire race and finished first. Billy J. had a speedy third place finish for his second ever cross country race. Alex B. finished 4th with his fastest time ever. Johnny B. and Gerard F. finished 5th and 6th in an excited sprint to the finish against a Chapel Hill runner where Johnny tripped and fell but got up and beat out his opponent. The rest of this all-star team included Derek W., Matt P., Jimmy M., Pat G., Chris H., Austen S. & Dan D. On the girls side Lindsay P. wowed fans as she caught up to many opponents in the last mile of the race finishing 8th. All four coaches were ecstatic with the determination they saw in the team yesterday. Please make sure you congratulate all cross country runners today as you see them for their hard work and great performance.
