What happens when the easy flow of reading is interrupted, when the language of the text is no longer transparent, when it is no longer obvious what to do with incoming information, or when something just doesn't seem to fit? J. Adam Hickey, Ed.M, Faculty Member at Landmark School will talk with us to help navigate our way to get back into a reading flow during these moments of uncertainty so that we can understand the capacity to self-monitor, self-assess, and self-evaluate in order to locate and then fix a difficulty.This ability is Metacognition.
