Student Wins Congressional Art Competition

HS

Landmark High School graduate, Kiley Davis, was named the Grand Award Winner in the Sixth Congressional District High School Art Competition and Exhibition for her 16” X 22” charcoal on paper drawing entitled “Stained Glass”. Her work is now featured on the United States House of Representatives website.

Author and Lecturer Rick Lavoie Speaks at Graduation

Rick Lavoie has served as an administrator of residential programs for children with special needs since 1972. He holds three degrees in Special Education and has served as an adjunct professor or visiting lecturer at numerous universities including Syracuse, Harvard, Gallaudet, Manhattanville College, University of Alabama, and Georgetown. His numerous national television appearances include CBS Morning Show, Good Morning America, ABC Evening News and Disney Channel Presents.

Kudos to our High School students for contributing over 3,000 hours of community service to organization and agencies in our area and beyond this year! This is our second consecutive year of being able to make such a significant contribution to our local community.
