Answers to Commonly Asked Questions about the Application Process

Landmark accepts applications on a rolling-admission basis. Files are submitted for review once all required records are received. The review can take four to six weeks to complete.

Q: Does my child need an interview?
After the completion of the application review process, if Landmark appears to be the appropriate school for your child, we will contact you to schedule an interview. For the Summer Program, the Admission Committee determines the need for an interview on a case-by-case basis.

Q: When is an application file considered complete? 
An application file is considered complete when all materials listed on the Application Checklist (included on the application) have been received by the Landmark Admission Department. Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to have all completed forms returned to Landmark.

Q: Does Landmark serve students with more pervasive learning disabilities? 
Landmark is not equipped to meet the needs of students with other learning disabilities, such as:

  • nonverbal learning disabilities
  • autism spectrum disorders/Asperger’s syndrome
  • pervasive developmental disorder
  • developmental delay

Q: Is there a different application for the Summer Program?
No.

Q: How will I know if my child is accepted to Landmark?
