FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS IN ADMISSION

Is there a deadline for applications?
Landmark accepts applications on a rolling admission basis and files are submitted for review once all of the required records are received.  The review is thorough and extensive and can take several weeks to complete.  It is suggested that you apply early!

Is there a different application for the summer program?
There is a separate form for the summer application. Please request a Summer Application Form.

Does my child need an interview?
Applicants who pass the Admission Committee Review are contacted regarding the required interview. The necessity of an interview for the summer program will be determined by the Admission Committee.

When is an application file considered complete?
An application file is considered complete when all materials listed on the Application Records Checklist have been received by Landmark Admission Department. It is the responsibility of the applicant to have all completed forms returned to Landmark.

What is the process after the application has been sent to Landmark?
First, a preliminary review is done to check that the file is complete. You will receive a letter requesting any missing records. Once the file is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admission Committee. Due to the large number of applicants and the thoroughness of the review process, it may be several weeks before you hear from us. After the Committee has made its recommendation, we will contact you regarding the findings.
