The Landmark 5K is a community based event to support Landmark School. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, neighbors, friends and area runners have gathered on the Ansara Center lawn at Landmark’s High School campus for the past three years to walk or run a picturesque 5K course traveling through Beverly Farms.
The 2013 road race had over 150 participants alongside 40 course volunteers and raised $4500 for The Landmark Fund; Landmark’s annual giving program. While this important community event is a part of Landmark’s Homecoming festivities, participants are varied and all walkers and runners are welcome.
NEW THIS YEAR:
We’ve added a team competition to this year’s 5K. Co-ed teams of three will compete against one another for cash prizes. As each team member finishes the race, they will be assigned a point total equivalent to their overall rank within their gender. For example, 10th among women equals 10 points and 15th among men equals 15 points, and so on. The team with the least points wins.
The Landmark 5K begins and ends at 447 Hale Street, Beverly, MA.
Post race snacks and refreshments for all participants, supporters and volunteers at the finish. Showers and changing rooms available for all runners after the event.
Race Begins at 10:30am.
